Jenny Jump State Park

Directions: Rt. 519 to Hope. At blinker light start following "Jenny Jump
State Park" signs to park. Follow to Park office, drive up hill, past
office, turn left at restrooms, then right, up hill to parking area.

Type: Moderate circuit hike. Approx. 2 miles, a few short steep climbs.

What comes after winter? Take that trail.
What is above the valley? Make a right at that marker.
What can scare you bad? Be brave! Right turn at that marker.
As you tread the scary path, keep your eyes open
For a roof line through the trees,
A breeze to spy when they go nude
Easy to lose in the leaves,
That is where you want to go
Way cool view!!
We drank hot chocolate and listened
To poetry on the porch.
When you are ready,
Round back go
16 steps north from the chimney
At the base of the "four".

Backtrack.
To the last marker.
Go straight-blue/yellow.
To the monolith, trail side.
50 paces past that "tale".
Spot the missing "chink" wall.
14 paces to the back left.

Continue on trail.
To the triple blue/double yellow.
Righty roady.
Past the "Blessed split rock tree".
Left on the "Swamp" trail
A bit tricky here...look for "red"
On the trees..
Boulders galore left ways.
Then on to the pine path.
Stay on red, back to lot.
